Former supervisors say it best when describing Maxine and her work ethic: The owner of the company where Maxine worked for over 25 years said that she is a calming influence. She is gracious, an asset in every respect. One vice president said she doesn’t feel any task is beneath her. While we were on the phone discussing her references, I heard Maxine announcing to employees (overhead) that it looked like a storm was on its way, so they should make certain their windows were rolled up…just one of the “little things” she is caring enough to do. He indicated that her interpersonal skills were some of the best he has seen; she does everything with a smile – and makes everyone around her look good. Who wouldn’t want Maxine to be their director of first impressions???
